Urbana is a typeface that was designed by graphic and type designer Cesar Puertas. His inspirations comes from the city buses in the city he resides in Bogota, Colombia.
Pattern “Urbana”
Urbana translates to Urban, in, relating to, or characteristic of a town or city.
The design came about because the word Urbana is Spanish for the word Urban. So the idea was to create a pattern within the word Urbana.
